English Major does not equal Teacher.
I'm an English Major and pretty much every time I tell someone that, it's almost always the same thing. "Oh, so you want to be a teacher someday?" ¬.¬ No, frankly, I do not. Unless it is to go overseas and teach it as a second language. But not here and it is not my goal. Seriously, there are other things you can do with an English Degree besides becoming a teacher. Just grinds my gears to hear people say that, but by this point I now just say, "I dunno, maybe." Taking a break from doing an English essay right now, actually. XD I'll get back to work.
