Listening to the lyrics of the song Sequoia Throne by Protest the Hero, this image popped into my head. The two lines I chose there are the ones that impacted me the most, because they mirror my thoughts pretty well.
*WARNING: OPINION* Not going to get into it much, but suffice to say that I think it's ridiculous that billions of dollars are wasted trying to get into space, yet we can't even take care of our own planet all too well. What are we hoping to find? Something else to destroy? *WARNING OPINION*
The picture isn't perfect colouring-wise, but the layout is exactly as I wanted it. Some reference used for the pose and the moon's light.
Probably hard to tell, but that is my character Shinjite. I wanted a silhouetted figure so that the focus wasn't so much on them, but the entirety of the picture. Also the mood I was going for just called for it.
Think I should have put the lyrics there? I can always remove them. *shrug* I thought they'd add to it.
