Non-Canon Couples -Stamp-

Description

Edit Changed it a bit. I think it looks better now. /Edit

More or less, this is my response to THIS stamp. I'm not</b> trying to start a fight, however, I was a little insulted/miffed by that stamp. So what, some couples I support aren't canon to the series/story/whatever.

That doesn't mean that I have no respect for the creators. I certainly have the utmost respect for creators.

The way I see it, non-canon pairings are more a "what if?" scenario. What if this character ended up liking someone else? What if the relationship between the canon couple didn't work out? If the non-canon pairing makes sense and seems like it could work out, then I may very well support it.

I dunno. Just my thoughts. Like I said, more or less a response to that other stamp.

The only reason I made this stamp bigger was so that the friggen font could be read. ^^; It's in no way an attack to say that my stamp is better. Not trying to start a war, remember.

Don't remember which stamp template I used (I use a few sometimes). Sorry!

Please favourite/collect if you use it.

:iconthisplz: I'm sick of people acting like shipping fanon hurts the creator. Most cartoonists are big boys and can handle different opinions; what they can't stand are fanbrats who patronize and harass others in their names. Cartoonists are NOT gods, fans something they haven't confirmed in their story is NOT the end of the fucking world; there's far more important things to worry about than some chick or dude shipping 2 of your characters who aren't officially canon together. Also, the majority of canon pairings are usually written horribly anyway, not to mention some only happened because of certain fans or the editors harassing the creator.  What makes me laugh the hardest is how people demand you ship a canon or so-called "canon" (pair that's super popular but not actually canon) are the same ones who attack the creator for drawing or writing certain things deemed questionable (gore, smut, or otherwise) or for making a pair that they hate become canon and be written better than their precious OTP. I'm gonna make some cartoons of my very own, and let me tell you, if you can't deal with fans having different opinions than you, you're gonna have a bad time. And sorry, but I don't understand why people think it's wrong to make fanworks that differ from the creator's view, yet criticize the creator over the dumbest things like the character's body types or whatever. If writers and artists can take even the most scathing, brutal critique against their work, then they should be able to accept fanon.
